Electronic Delivery of Form 1095-C Notice
Notice to Employee:
- Changes to Form 1095-C Delivery. The Paperwork Burden Act limits the circumstances under which Form 1095-B and 1095-C must be provided to employee. Starting with the 2024 calendar year, instead of mailing Forms 1095-C to employees, the Act allows employers to furnish these forms only upon request of employees.
- You have the right to request a copy of your Form 1095-C, which details your health insurance coverage provided by the company, by contacting your HR Administrators/Benefits Department at 918-236-2803 or benefits@latshawdrilling.com. The company will provide your Form 1095-C within 30 days of your request or by January 31st of the following year, whichever is later.
The Consolidated Appropriations Act (CAA) which was signed into law by President Trump on December 27, 2020. This law contains new transparency requirements for employers. These transparency requirements include a new ban on certain gag clauses, new identification card requirements, advanced explanation of benefit requirements and special rules for continuing care patients. One of the provisions of the law requires employers to have a machine-readable file for in-network rates and out-of-network amounts on a public website.
